and you cancel your account within 30 days of the activation date, we will
refund your money. No questions asked. We believe in our service and stand behind it 100%.
Does not apply to Reseller hosting, Managed or Dedicated Servers.
If your account has been canceled by us due to a breach of the terms of service or policies,
you will not be eligible for a refund.
Domain name registration is non-refundable.

99.9% Uptime Guarantee Here at Bright-Byte we have maintained a
99.99% uptime for years, so not only are we entirely confident in our servers, but we make the
commitment to you that we will meet or exceed our 99.9% Uptime Guarantee.
Our Guarantee to you:
If your site is ever down for over 60 concurrent minutes per month, We will credit your account
double the amount of the server downtime, eg; if your site experiences 1 1/2hrs downtime we
will credit your account to the amount of 3 hours.
To request downtime credit, simply contact accounts@Bright-Byte.com, noting the time of the
suspected downtime, plus your account login, domain, and any other relevant information.
For the purposes of this guarantee, "Downtime" means the server is malfunctioning and not
responding properly to HTTP requests.
The following services are covered by the 99.9% Uptime Guarantee:
- NETWORK - Our connections to the Internet
- HTTP - Apache Web Server (ie: your visible Website)
- POP3/SMTP - Email Services (not including Webmail)
- FTP - FTP Access to your website
The following are not included in the 99.9% Uptime Guarantee:
Failures caused by custom design or configurations.
Any service outages due to failure of equipment not operated by Bright-Byte Computer Services,
including but not limited to Internet failure or congestion.
Customer oversights, eg; failing to pay for domain name registration or renewal fees.
Problems caused by the failure or malfunction of the Microsoft FrontPage Server Extensions.
Outages as a result of malfunctioning applications installed by the customer such as,
CGI scripts installed by customers or other programming/setup not performed by Bright-Byte
Computer Services.
Sites that are disabled or removed for non-payment or violations of systems policies.
The webmail system, due to the frequent updates and changes to the webmail system, we do
not guarantee 99.9% uptime for those systems although they are typically available 100% of the
time (Your POP3/SMTP - Email Services are covered, meaning there will be no disruption to your email).
